Gund Kwok

Gund Kwok is the first all female and all Asian Lion and Dragon Dance Troupe in the country. Started in 1998, it was started with a women's empowerment vision to provide Asian women with the opportunity to learn and perform an art form that was traditionally unavailable to women because women were viewed as inferior. Gund Kwok's performances are uniquely choreographed to energize and to inspire. Gund Kwok performs at various events and venues all year round and offers Trial Classes for women and girls who are interested in learning lion dance in a female supported space.
